The Artista at Manunulat ng Sambayanan (Armas)—Jethro Isaac Ferrer Chapter in Southern Tagalog, held a general assembly in June. The chapter launched the event as part of efforts to consolidate and expand its ranks.

At the assembly, members performed and conducted revolutionary mass critique on several pieces. They also elected new officers for the chapter’s executive committee.

Also in June, the chapter held a cultural festival featuring discussions and workshops aimed at cultivating the cultural work of revolutionary artists. They also launched coordinated actions of oplan pinta, oplan dikit, and oplan sabit. They put up posters, streamers, and graffiti calling for the advancement the people’s war.
