Red fighters of the New People’s Army-Mindoro (Lucio De Guzman Command) successfully completed the Advanced Party Course despite the fascist AFP’s intense attacks. Most of the students came from the ranks of peasants and national minorities. The study course was held from July 29 to August 10.

The study aimed to raise political awareness and strengthen further the resolve of the people’s army. Its success was achieved with the help of local forces and people, and Red fighters who provided security and support. Unit commander Ka Jomar said, “The study succeeded because of the comrades’ sharp reading of the situation, in unity with the masses.”
