Narciso Antazo Aramil Command
NPA Rizal (NAAC-NPA-Rizal)
A successful harassment operation was conducted by members of the New People’s Army under the Narciso Antazo Aramil Command (NAAC-NPA-Rizal) on a detachment of the 82nd company of the Special Action Force – Philippine National Police (SAF-PNP) based in Sitio Toyang, Barangay (village) San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal on 6 November 2011 at exactly 2:45 am. The said operation lasted for 10 minutes.
The said tactical offensive is in response to the people’s demand to punish the SAF-PNP, who repeatedly commits crimes against the residents. The SAF-PNP were involved in various human rights violations, including the killings of Galman Navarte, Demilita Largo and Benita San Jose. The three were members of the Dumagat tribe and killed on 19 July 2010 in Brgy. San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.
This unit was also involved in the killing of two civilians on September 2010 in Brgy Puray, Rodriguez, Rizal. They strafed the huts of wood gatherers (magkakahoy), instantly killing a 25-year old chainsaw operator, Mr. Junior Asyong, and his helper, Mr. Cocoy, both of Sitio Lukutan, Brgy. San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.
The SAF-PNP unit also conducts notorious extortion operations. They require all the traders passing in front of their camp to give them money or goods, otherwise they will confiscate all the goods.
Previously, a checkpoint was conducted by some members of the NAAC-NPA-Rizal on 2 November 2011 in Brgy. Sta Inez, Tanay, Rizal, which apprehended 10 elements of the paramilitary Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU). The 10 were conducting an intelligence mission in the territory controlled by the Peoples’ Democratic Government. They were then released after promising to resign from their work as CAFGU.
These checkpoints are regularly conducted by the members of the New Peoples’ Army to make sure that there are no mercenary agents of the government’s armed forces inside the territories of the Peoples’ Democratic Government.
The team of NPA fighters who conducted these tactical offensives suffered no casualty and safely returned to their camp.
We express our thanks to the people of Rizal, including those concerned members of the PNP, CAFGU Armed Forces of the Philippines, and government officials who extend their help to us. Their timely information regarding the movements and activities of the SAF-PNP and CAFGU were essential in the success of these tactical offensives.
Long Live the New People’s Army!
Long Live the Communist Party of the Philippines!
Long Live the National Democratic Front of the Philippines!
Long Live the Filipino People!
