The Merardo Arce Command-Southern Mindanao Regional Operations Command-New People's Army has released ex-master sergeant Jose Manero after granting him conditional amnesty.
Manero was released to Buhangin parish priest Fr. Pete Lamata and Bunawan parish priest Fr. Jovil Bonggay somewhere in the hills of Calinan at 10:30 pm, Sunday, August 24.
