AFP hit man’s punishment highlights the futility of recent FMO in Calatrava

The punishment of once feared military hit man and local politician thug by a unit of Roselyn Jean Pelle Command (RJPC) yesterday evening is a big blow to the desperate campaign of #DiMasaligan79IB to crush the NPA and destroy the revolutionary movement in Northern Negros.

The Red fighters raided the residence of Tolindoy Nepalar in Sitio Spur 2, Barangay Minapasuk, Calatrava, Negros Occidental at around 6:35 pm and with adroit precision, carried out the punitive action ordered by the people’s court and long demanded by the masses.

It’s significant to note that the sentencing of Nepalar happened less than two weeks after the conclusion of a big focused military operation in Calatrava and other areas where almost the entire combat personnel of #DiMasaligan79IB were deployed and supported by other AFP specialized units and PNP mobile forces.

This FMO ended in utter failure, with its objective of pursuing, cornering and engaging the main forces of RJPC-NPA in decisive battles turned to ashes.

The area where Tolindoy was residing supposedly was “cleared” of NPA presence. Hence, his complacency and false sense of security that was properly taken into account by the RJPC-NPA unit that carried out the punitive action.

This action demonstrates that with the boundless support from the masses, RJPC-NPA units can freely move in the vast areas of Northern Negros to conduct offensive operations.

As military hit man, Tolindoy is responsible for numerous killings of civilians tagged as NPA supporters or members. He also accepted private kill contracts in exchange for sum of money.

In the last elections, Tolindoy served as principal enforcer of Calatrava Mayor Marilyn Era. His other crimes include espionage (serving as intelligence asset and handlers of other military assets in his area) drug peddling, land grabbing, harrassment and red tagging.
