The Communist Party of the Philippines in Panay joins the whole Party organization, revolutionary movement and the Filipino people in celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Party. It takes great pride in persevering on the revolutionary path for more than 38 years of arduous struggle since the Party formation in Panay. Its contribution to the national revolutionary struggle these past several decades helped establish the national, mass and proletarian character of the Communist Party. It has frustrated the unrelenting enemy attacks thereby tying down significant enemy armed strength especially in the Visayas. It contributed to the downfall of various oppressive regimes.
