Warmest solidarity greetings from Japan!
Japan Communist League celebrate the 40th founding anniversary of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines. The unyielding struggle of Filipino people and revolutionary forces has always encouraged oppressed people of Asia and the rest of the world.
We recognize that the NDFP has sought to develop and coordinate all progressive classes and sectors in order to end the rule of US imperialism and its local allies in your country, and to achieve national liberation and genuine democracy. We also know your historical contribution to overthrowing of Marcos dictatorship and to dismantlement of the US bases in your country. We also know that you have served the people in your country, especially in rural area. In fact, we are very inspired by your continuing effort in severe condition.
Today, under the so-called ‘rebalancing’ strategy, the US imperialism plans to reinforce its military presence in the Asia-Pacific region massively. It also intend to re-establish economic hegemony in the region through leading of negotiation on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement. Japanese imperialism is also intensifying its maneuver for strengthening of US-Japanese military alliance and its own militarization toward Asia-Pacific in the pretext of rising territorial conflict over Diaoyu Islands between China and Japan, while it is expanding economical invasion in the region.
In these situation, it become urgent task for struggling people and revolutionary forces in the region to develop the regional united front and joint struggle against imperialist oppression, plunder, militarization and war. We JCL as a revolutionary forces inside imperialist country determine to further intensify our effort to arouse, organize and mobilize working class and people in Japan against imperialist maneuvers, in solidarity with oppressed people in Philippine, Asia and the rest of the world.
In spite of massive imperialist and capitalist attacks, we witness that people’s struggle has advanced in every continent. People that united internationally shall achieve the victory and build the world for people with out imperialism.
