As a youth organization that works for the genuine liberation of the Philippines, along with the rights and welfare of the Filipino diaspora, Anakbayan San Diego greatly commends Professor Jose Maria Sison's 50 years of service to not only the Filipino people but people throughout the world in the struggle for national and social liberation against imperialism.
Along with his 70th birthday, we are honored to continue educating, organizing, and mobilizing the local community to work towards such visions of people's liberations that Professor Sison strives for. Thus, through his inspiring work and dedication to serve the people, we remain hopeful in enhancing the quality of life for Filipinas/os and other oppressed peoples nationally and globally.
