The New People’s Army (NPA) in Northern Negros accorded the late chief NDFP peace negotiator Ka Louie Jalandoni its final red salute.
The Roselyn Jean Pelle Command (RJPC-NPA ) hailed Ka Louie as a valiant warrior for peace, an exemplary proletarian cadre, true internationalist, and dedicated servant of the masses whose boundless humility, courage and steadfastness in advancing the people’s democratic revolution is a beacon to all who aspire for a just and lasting peace on the basis a truly free and prosperous society.
Early in the morning today, Red fighters in formation performed a silent 21-gun-salute and took an oath to honor and uphold the revolutionary legacy of Ka Louie and commit to the furtherance of the people’s war to a new and higher level.
The reactionaries are fooling themselves in thinking that a demise of a revolutionary leader will hamper the revolution’s advance. Surely, countless will pick the torch of revolution left behind by Ka Louie as the crisis of the semi-colonial and semi-feudal system further worsened under the US-Marcos.
