PRWC » Revolutionary justice continues to inspire Negrosanon youth to join the NPA, unfazed by AFP’s black propaganda

The NTF-Elcac can only attempt to deflect attention from their own crimes by projecting them onto others by accusing the New People’s Army (NPA) of committing extrajudicial killings–crimes against humanity that the Philippine government itself has long been guilty of.

While NTF-Elcac parrots the people’s calls in its statements, it can only do so superficially, as the youth are fully aware and are witnesses of the true perpetrators of extrajudicial killings.

The reactionary state uses multi-million budgeted social media machinery for disinformation and fake news to conceal crimes committed to the farmworkers and their families such as extrajudicial killings, indiscriminate firing, bombing, threats and harassment, illegal arrests, abduction, coercion, rape and others. The youth who are the frequent users of such platforms, should echo these realities in their communities.

In barangays where the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) continue their operations, they subject the youth to coercion and forcefully obtain information on the whereabouts of the NPA. They also camp in schools for several weeks which violates the international law on warfare. They legitimize their presence in campuses in the guise of “youth summit” and “training” which in reality are part of their anti-insurgency campaign. Just recently, after their April 6 staged “encounter” in Calatrava,Negros Occidental, they detained minors who were in the vicinity. The minors were only released after their parents filed a complaint to the police.

Military officials and enlisted personnels engage in selling of illegal drugs which causes normalized addiction among the people especially the youth. Weary and agitated of such culture that instilled lumpenic habits, the youth turn to the NPA eager to remold themselves and participate in implementing revolutionary justice. They actively seek the presence of their people’s army and voluntarily abide by revolutionary discipline to serve the people,in contrast to the AFP’s culture of impunity among their trainees.

The masses actively uphold and participate in the investigation, adjudication, and implementation of verdict of the people’s court in resolving crimes and delivering justice. This stands in contrast to NTF-Elcac’s claim that only the NPA is involved in such processes.

No amount of black propaganda can turn the revolutionary youth and masses against their revolutionary cause. We, the Negrosanon youth, remain committed to continuing and actively participating in upholding the revolutionary government and advancing revolutionary justice through the democratic and scientific processes of the people’s court.
