Dear comrades,
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany (MLPD), all its members as well as the youth league REBELL and its children organization The Redfoxes it is an honour for me to convey to you the warmest congratulations and revolutionary greetings on the occasion of the 40th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of the Philippines.
The re-establishment of the Communist Party of the Philippines on the birthday of the great Marxist-Leninist leader Mao Zedong in 1968 was a declaration of battle on the revisionist degeneration in the Soviet Union under Khrushchev and Brezhnev after the betrayal on the XXth Party Congress of the CPSU in 1956. In the following years the CPP exemplified to build up an international esteemed Marxist-Leninist Party deeply rooted in the people that understood to lead the working class in the new democratic revolution as the preliminary stage to the socialist revolution and to hold on to the armed struggle for the liberation of the people.
Not at least by founding the National Democratic Front of the Philippines in 1973 it was capable of forging the revolutionary unity front of the working class, the peasants, the women, the youth and further societal strata.
Under its leadership the Filipino people brought down the Marcos dictatorship, under its leadership the pro imperialist governments of Aquino, Ramos and Estrada had to resign – as the reactionary Arroyo government will face the same fade.
Revolutionary liberation struggle demands great sacrifices. With high esteem we commemorate the liberation fighters who lost their lives in this struggle. Against the paid death squadrons we continuingly assure our full solidarity!
The MLPD is proud of 25 years of friendship and collaboration in the international Marxist-Leninist and working class movement. Even though there were serious debates we finally found the way to settle controversies by means of a culture of debate in solidarity.
Together we face new challenges: The new dimension of the speculation and its crisis-ridden blowing up is a consequence of the reorganization of international production. The international supermonopolies have taken control of the world economy with their speculative finance capital, which brings to a head the entire decadence of the imperialist world system. The crisis-ridden development of the imperialist world system becomes rapidly clear in such financial, banking and stock market crises. Meanwhile, a new world economic crisis commenced, with a dimension hardly conceivable. That is going to drive the destabilization of the imperialist world system to the extremes and will be expressed in economic and political commotions. The burden of the crisis is to be shifted to the masses in an unknown scale. The Marxist-Leninists have to prepare themselves and the masses for that development, to make them understand this new social developments as an expression of the capitalist laws.
Against the background of this development, solidarity and increasingly closer collaboration of the Marxist-Leninists for the coordination and revolutionization of the international class struggle is of great strategic significance. In this spirit we are looking forward to a further fruitful revolutionary collaboration in solidarity and wish you success in your struggle!
