The youth closely linked with the struggling masses of workers and peasants is a formidable force that can invigorate the people’s resistance against worsening op- pressive and exploitative condi- tions sharpened by state terrorism, fascism and a rising dictator. The Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police (AFP/ PNP), fascist apparatuses of the ruling class of big compradors and landlords and US imperialism, are gravely threatened and therefore stop at nothing to suppress the growing youth movement in the country, particularly in Negros.
