To the Central Committee, Communist Party of the Philippines:
On occasion of the 40th anniversary of reestablishing your party we want to send you our red greetings from Austria, Europe.
The Communist Party of the Philippines has been for a long time an important factor for strengthening our efforts as communists in a small imperialist country with a low-developed stage of class struggle.
The 40 years of your struggle and leadership in the revolutionary movement have seen many ups and downs but – unlike many of those parties being established in the 1960ies and 1970ies during the struggle against Modern Revisionism – you have enlarged your abilities in overcoming the various forms of opportunism and revisionism in studying and developing scientific communism and carrying out deep-going rectification campaigns in your party. So you were able to advance and lead the people’s masses in many regions of the Philippines in their liberation struggle for a national democratic revolution.
We wish you all the best for the coming years that will most probably be decisive for the future development not only in your country but also for the current revolutionary communist movement of the world.

Aus Anlass des 40. Jahrestags der Neugründung eurer Partei möchten wir euch unser roten Grüße aus Östrreich, Europa senden.
Die KP Philippinen ist seit langer Zeit ein wichtiger Faktor für die Verstärkung unserer Anstrengungen in einem kleinen imperialistischen Land in einem schwach entwickelten Stadium des Klassenkampfs. In euren 40 Jahren Kampf und Führung der revolutionären Bewegung gab es viele Auf und Ab, aber – anders als viele jener Parteien die in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren im Kampf gegen den Modernen Revisionismus gegründeten Parteien – habt ihr eure Fähigkeiten vergrößert, die verschiedenen Formen des Opportunismus und Revisionismus zu überwinden, weil ihr den wissenschaftlichen Kommunismus studiert und weiterentwickelt habt und tiefgehende Korrekturbewegungen in eurer Partei durchgeführt habt. So konntet ihr voranschreiten und die Volksmassen in vielen Teilen eures Landes in ihrem Befreiungskampf für eine nationaldemokratische Revolution anleiten.
Wir wünschen euch das Beste für die kommenden Jahre, die für die zukünftige Entwicklung wahrscheinlich entscheidend sein werden, nicht nur in eurem Land, sondern für die derzeitige revolutionär-kommunistische Bewegung weltweit.
