The Apolinario Gatmaitan Command-New People’s Army Negros Island Regional Operations Command (AGC-NPA) today directed all units of the NPA in the five guerilla fronts of Negros Island to hold memorial activities and a silent 21-gun-salute to honor the memory and hail the revolutionary legacy of Ka Louie Jalandoni, the beloved of son of Negrosanon masses and revolutionary leader.
According to prevailing military situation, NPA units are expected to forthwith make the necessary preparations and to mobilize the masses for this occasion. Allied organizations of the National Democratic Front (NDF) are encouraged to make contributions or conduct separate related activities.
The masses lost their son. Although Ka Louie was born from an affluent landlord ancestry he transcended his class origin by closely linking with the masses and fighting with them for national liberation and social emancipation.
His decades of selfless and dedicated service to the oppresed and exploited classes is forever etched in the memory every Negrosanon who regarded him as their cherished son.
Every Red commander and fighter of Negros vow to uphold the revolutionary legacy of Ka Louie and to advance the people’s war to a new and higher level.
