The National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) warmly congratulates the Republic of Cuba on its 61st anniversary of the victory of the Cuban Revolution.
The Filipino people are deeply inspired by this great achievement of the heroic Cuban people led by the historical Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro and his stalwart commanders who valiantly assisted him, Commander Che Guevarra and Commander Camilo Cienfuegos.
This victory was one of tremendous impact in Latin America but also in Africa and other parts of the world.
The achievements of the Cuban Revolution in the field of health care are recognized worldwide. Cuba is considered to have the best health care in the world.

Its doctors are serving, in their many thousands, in Venezuela, Bolivia, and many other countries. They have set up an effective medical university to train medical students from all over the world.
In Africa, who can forget Cuito Cuanavale? Thousands of Cuban fighters offered their lives to defeat the Apartheid forces and liberate the people of Angola. Cuba, under the leadership of Comander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, helped in the liberation of other African countries.
We admire the firm solidarity given by Cuba to the Venezuelan people and President Nicolas Maduro, to the Bolivian people and their leader Evo Morales, and the Sandinistas of Nicaragua.
The Filipino people are inspired by the persistent struggle of Cuba against US imperialism, condemning the US sanctions against Cuba and the long blockade against Cuba.
We, in the Philippines, are determined to persevere in our revolutionary struggle against US imperialism and its domestic cohorts, to achieve national and social liberation.
Long live the Cuban Revolution!
Long live the legacy and inspiration of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro!
Down with US imperialism and its puppets!
Long live international solidarity!
