The National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) vigorously condemns the attempted invasion by sea against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. An armed group of terrorists in speed boats, in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 3, 2020, tried to land on Venezuela shores, at the coastal La Guaira State, just north of Caracas. They were stopped by the Bolivarian Armed Forces and Police. Eight of the terrorists were killed and two were wounded and arrested.

NDFP Chief International Representative Luis Jalandoni

We, the revolutionary Filipino people reiterate our firm solidarity with President Nicolas Maduro, the heroic people of Venezuela and the Venezuelan Armed Forces and Militia. We recognize their firmness in upholding and heroically defending the national sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic. They are also persevering in the pro-people programs to counter the criminal and illegitimate sanctions of the US.

We likewise strongly condemn the leading role of the U. S. Special Operations Officer, Former Green Beret, Jordan Goudreau, in the plan to invade Venezuela, take over Caracas in 96 hours, and establish ‘a transition government’.

In the last few months, they are also very effectively combatting the Covid-19 pandemia to protect the health and safety of the people.

Long live President Nicolas Maduro and the heroic Venezuelan people!
Long live the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Bolivarin Armed Forces and Militia!
Down with U.S. imperialism and its cohorts!
Long live international solidarity!
