Dear Comrades,
I want to express my sympathy to all members of National Democratic Front of the Philippines on Fidel Agcaoili’s death. On behalf of all the men and women of the Basque pro-independence left, I want to convey our sorrow and admiration for Fidel and the struggle he embodied.
It’s never easy to write the words to express our sorrow for the loss of those who have given so much to their people and shown solidarity to so many. The best we can do is remember them, mourn them and keep up the struggle as they did.
I will never forget everything we learned together. Fidel has been a great reference for me.
My condolences to his family, friends and all people of Philippines in general for his loss.
