CONTEST RULES:

The contest is open to all visual artists and graphic designers, aged 12 years old and not older than 30 years old as of 30 April 2010.

A participant can submit more than one entry but may only be awarded one prize. The panel of judges shall ultimately decide which entry will be awarded the prize.

All entries should be two-dimensional,no smaller than A4 (210 x 297 mm), and rendered on paper or canvas. Name and contact information of the participant, or any identifiable mark, should not appear on any part of the entry. These should be written down on a separate sheet of paper, accompanying the entry.

Entries in digital form should be saved in TIF format, rendered in CMYK at 300 dpi, and should be no smaller than A3 (297 x 420 mm). Name and contact information of the participant or any identifiable mark should not appear on any part of the entry, nor in the file name. Each entry should be contained in one CD or DVD with the name and contact information of the participant written on the disc.

Entries should reflect the competition's theme: “The experience of the youth in the current global financial crisis, and their role in advancing the movement for socialist revolution.”A panel of judges will evaluate the entries based on the following criteria:
a. Interpretation of the theme (40%)
b. Visual impact (30%)c. Composition (30%)

Entries should be original designs by the participants themselves. Every participant guarantees that their entries do not violate any copyright laws. The organizers shall not be liable for any copyright violation resulting from any entry.

Upon submission of their entries, participants grant the organizers exclusive right to reproduce the entries for the panel of judges. Upon the consent of the participants, the organizers are granted the right to exhibit all or any of the contest entries beyond 30 April 2010, in venues agreed upon by the participant and the organizers.
