The Roselyn Jean Pelle Command-New People’s Army (RJPC-NPA) units in the last two days has launched consecutive punitive actions against notorious military spies over extended areas of Northern Negros, debunking the absurd claim of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)- 3rd ID that they have already “eliminated’ all the five guerrilla fronts in Negros and achieved “strategic victory” in their counter-insurgency campaign.
On Wednesday, September 3, RJPC-NPA partisans punished a longtime military spy in Barangay San Pablo, Manapla, Negros Occidental whose acts of espionage and counter-revolutionary activities spanned for decades. This action happened closer to Bacolod City and the adjacent Victorias City, also in Negros Occidental, where #DiMasaligan79IB has been building encampments and forward positions.
This was followed yesterday, September 4, by the punishment of another military spy in Barangay Bug-ang, Toboso, Negros Occidental, which is faraway from Manapla and near an AFP detachment.
These actions reflect not only the enhanced capacity of RJPC-NPA units to conduct operations in populated areas and coordinate operations in different places. But more importantly, the ever widening and deepening popular mass support for the revolution.
The guerrilla front in Northern Negros continues to exist and thrive with the boundless support from the exploited and oppressed masses under the banner of the Third Rectification Movement initiated by the Communist Party of the Philippines.
The RJPC-NPA is ever determined to intensify the armed struggle and will do its utmost to actively contribute to the people’s war’s over-all advance.
