This publication, The Lies of GRP Officials on Extrajudicial Killings , a study by the NDFP Monitoring Committee (MC) and its Joint Secretariat (JS), was prompted by repeated public claims by officials of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) imputing the blame or responsibility for the extrajudicial killings of hundreds of legal activists and unarmed civilians to the New People’s Army (NPA), the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), and other revolutionary forces, constituting the national liberation movement in the Philippines.
